New gameplay for the highly anticipated Xenoblade Chronicles X was shown yesterday at the most recent Nintendo Direct, which was focused solely on the newest Xenoblade game.

Xenoblade Chronicles is a Japanese action RPG in development by Monolith Soft, the creators of origin Xenosage games, and being published by Nintendo. It is an open world game with a strong emphasis on fighting unique and huge monsters and exploration.

A huge appeal of the game is the ability to use large mech suits which allow for quick travel and combat across beautiful and vibrant environments. You can check out the new story focused trailer here, explaining new features, the main story line and giving background information for the series.
