New Sherlock Holmes game set to come out in 2016

A new Sherlock Holmes game is set to be released next year by developers Frogwares Studio, after recently signing a publishing deal with Bigben Interactive.

Bigben Interactive announced the publishing deal via a press release yesterday, and were proud to be helping develop and publish the next Sherlock Holmes game.

“We are very happy with this partnership. We will provide Frogwares with excellent distribution and maximum media exposure for their Sherlock Holmes series” said Alain Falc, CEO of Bigben Group.

Frogwares Studio has made a name for themselves from the Adventures of Sherlock Holmes, adventure/investigation series, and have released seven Sherlock games since starting out as a developer. The series has gained more recognition and fans as more games have released and over five million game have been sold in the series,

“We are delighted to team up on the development of a new Sherlock Holmes game with Bigben. We look forward to seeing this partnership flourish over the coming months, taking advantage of the energy they are ready to bring to the table. In our turn, we are committed to create an engaging content that will satisfy any gamer willing to challenge their inner Sherlock Holmes”, said Waël Amr, CEO of Frogwares studio.

Their most recent title, Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishments, released last year was received well and was the first game in the series to be created in Unreal Engine 3 and first to be released on the Xbox One and PS4.

Although no other details about this new Sherlock Holmes game has been released yet, we can only hope it will be created on the recently released Unreal Engine 4.
