The last Onimusha game on console was released nine years ago, but the wait for the next outing in Capcom’s popular franchise may be coming to an end. According to a new trademark filed by Capcom themselves, a new Onimusha game may be on its way.
It is unknown what format(s) the game will be released, or whether it will be a brand new game or a remaster of one of the originals. The last game to be released for consoles was Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams for Playstation 2, with the downloadable Onimusha Soul released in 2013.
With Playstation Experience just round the corner now, we may hear more about this exciting news between the 5th and 6th of December, when the conference takes place in Los Angeles. For any Single Player news that comes out of the event, make sure to keep your eyes on our Twitter and Facebook pages this weekend.
