A listing of Watch Dogs Legion, the third installment of the Watch Dogs franchise, has leaked online.

Ahead of E3, Amazon UK has posted a listing of Watch Dogs Legion for the PlayStation 4. The interesting premise of the game is that the player can play as any character that is recruited, as noted by the page’s product description:

Play as anyone, Every individual you meet in the open world, has a full set of animations, voice over, character traits and visuals that are generated & guided by gameplay systems

Interestingly, Jason Schreier at Kotaku mentions that this mechanic has delayed the game at least once.

Additionally, the Amazon page confirms the setting of London for the game, as many sources have reported earlier:

Watch_Dogs Legion is set in a near-future, dystopian version of London. It’s a post-Brexit world in which society, politics and technology have changed and altered London’s fortunes. London is one of the most iconic cities in the world and has had a massive influence on all of Western Culture for centuries… London makes total sense for WD, as the city has one of the highest surveillance levels in the world making this the perfect playground.

Watch Dogs Legion is expected to be revealed next week at E3, possibly with a release date.

  1. Sounds like a weird mechanic for this franchise. How are they going to pull it off without breaking the game’s balance in a million pieces? Unless they add some sort of Nomad Soul trickery into the story line (like hacking into someone’s mind?), this doesn’t seem to fit with the overall tone of Watch Dogs.
