It’s been a couple years now since the launch of the Nintendo Wii U, and Nintendo has been silent about Nintendo 64 Games making the jump to the virtual console, but according to a notice that has appeared on the Nintendo website that may soon change.

The notice tells fans of the Nintendo Wii U to check back on their site regularly for updates about its Virtual lineup of games and for information regarding “future addition of titles from the Game Boy Advance and Nintendo 64 system.”  It had been announced in January that Nintendo DS games would soon appear on the virtual console after overcoming several technical problems and just a month later, it was also announced that Game Boy Advance titles would also soon be appearing in April.

Nintendo has yet to announce any news about Gamecube games coming to the Virtual Console and Wii games are already playable on the Wii U.
