The much-anticipated Oddworld: Soulstorm has finally received a gameplay reveal after years of eager waiting.
The latest adventure in Abe’s ongoing quest to free his people from large corporations takes place right after the previous game, Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty. Assuming the player received the ‘good’ ending in the last title, Abe now leads an army of fellow mudokens to freedom. Abe and co. now revolt against their oppressors in what looks to be the fight of their lives.
For the first time, the game actually shows a miniature battle between a group of mudokens and several armed foes. The game also addslooting and crafting elements, which could be what enables Abe to fight back by creating weapons or distracting gizmos.
Oddworld: Soulstorm will be released in early 2020 and will likely be available on console and PC, as was New ‘n’ Tasty. Stay tuned for more Oddworld news by bookmarking OnlySP and follow us on Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube. You can also join the discussion in our community Discord server.
