Developer Snapshot Games has revealed that the turn-based strategy Phoenix Point will release in December.
According to a press release from the studio, the PC version of the game is set to launch on December 3, 2019. Anyone who has purchased an Early Access version should also see it transfer to a retail edition from November 8.
The Xbox One version should arrive early in 2020, with a PlayStation 4 edition following later in the year. Snapshot Games also announced that ‘Blood and Titanium’ will release in the first few months of next year. This is the first of five DLC expansions coming in 2020.
A base edition of Phoenix Point will be available at USD$39.99. The deluxe edition, which includes extra in-game weapon and armor sets as well as a digital art book and compendium, costs $59.99. Finally, the $79.99 Ultra Edition has everything from the other versions as well as a season pass for the DLC.
Phoenix Point is the work of XCOM creator Julian Gollop and is a spiritual successor to the series. It was originally meant to release in September but has seen several delays. The team recently showed off some of the customization options players will have at their disposal.
