Fans of the critically acclaimed Playdead Studios may have a new look at what the developer has been cooking up the past few years.
Thanks to a tip sent to freelance writer Johnny Cullen, the two pictures embedded below may be the best hint players have at what to expect next from Playdead.
So someone just emailed me a tip on this: this is brand new art of the next game from Playdead (Limbo, Inside).

The creative indie developer is responsible for two of the most artistic and stylized games of the past decade. This next project looks to be no exception.
Just last November, the studio commented on how it is growing away from 2D games because of what it perceives as “limitations.” Fans now know that the next game will fall into the sci-fi genre, while also a bigger game than Inside or Limbo.
