PS4 Version of Unreal Engine 4 Tactical FPS, Ground Branch, “is a good bet at some point”

In our recent interview with the team at Blackfoot Studios about their upcoming tactical FPS Ground Branch, studio owner John Sonedecker revealed that there is a strong possibility that the Unreal Engine 4 game will make an appearance on the Playstation 4.

“We would definitely like to explore that opportunity once the PC version is on solid ground. BlackFoot Studios is an official registered Sony Playstation 4 developer/publisher, so I think it’s safe to say the PS4 is a good bet at some point.”

Ground Branch is still in development, and the PC version is the primary development platform, but BlackFoot Studio already being registered with Sony as a PS4 developer is a big commitment to the PS4 platform.

I’m actually excited for this, I’ve been searching for a solid Tac FPS for a while now, I’ve had to stick to SWAT4 up until this, whenever this comes out on PC I’m gonna buy it; whenever it comes out on PS4 I’m gonna buy it again.

Hopefully we get some news on the upcoming Rainbow game as well. I’m more excited for that than the majority of FPS games coming out in the near future.
