Game Informer recently sat down for a rather…unorthodox interview with Sam Lake, who worked on Max Payne and was the head writer for the 2010 psychological action thriller game Alan Wake, in which they asked him 100 questions (literally) in the span of five minutes.

Naturally, this means that a majority of the questions and their answers were of varying ranges of relevant and silly, but one question in particular stood out. About 10 seconds into the video (Game Informer’s Ben Reeves does not waste any time getting to the big questions), Lake is asked the question “Will we ever get to play Alan Wake 2?”

His simple response: “Yes.”

Now, this is hardly an informative answer. I’m sure we’ll get to see The Playstation 6 and another actually-good Terminator movie someday but no one’s holding their breath. Still, it’s informative and interesting that he said so without hesitation. Could it mean that Lake – who told Reeves that Alan Wake was the game he was most proud of – actually has specific plans for a sequel? Or were he and Reeves just being silly? Only time will tell.

Check out the rest of the interview to find out the answers to important questions like what time Lake “Alan Wakes up in the morning”; what Lake’s favorite Lake is; “what is time?”; whether Lake feels like he could write a better Max Payne movie (naturally the answer is yes); and of course, how to say Quantum Break in Finnish (don’t ask me to repeat it). Oh, and some more tidbits about the upcoming title Quantum Break as well (dinosaurs are in the game).

But really, it’s worth watching just because Lake is so darned adorable.
