RAID: World War II Can Be Played as a Single Player Title With AI Companions

Lion Game Lion have recently announced a new World War II first person shooter which is being published by Starbreeze Studios. Announced as a 4-player cooperative World War II shooter we have learned some new details about RAID that you might be interested in hearing.

While the game is touted as a cooperative title, it is possible for gamers to play the game as a single player title with AI companions, much akin to the Left 4 Dead series or other similar titles. RAID will feature a campaign that focuses more on action over realism as players go on undercover missions and steal gold from the Nazi regime.

While the game is focused more on action than providing a realistic World War II experience, the game’s missions are all inspired by real combat scenarios.

The game is being developed on the Diesel engine which also powers Payday 2: The Heist. We’ll be looking to get back in touch with Lion Game Lion today to talk a little more about the game’s campaign and get some more details for you.

Platforms or a release date for RAID have not been locked down just yet, however, the game is playable here on the show floor.
