While Beyond Good and Evil 2 is still allegedly in development, Ubisoft Montpellier has announced Valiant Hearts: The Great War, a 2D puzzle adventure game.

Set during the first World War, you follow four characters and their canine friend who face the struggles of warfare and leaving your loved ones behind.

According to Ubisoft, “Friendship, love, sacrifice and tragedy befall as they help each other to retain their humanity against the horrors brought on by war.” This game also uses the UbiArt Framework Engine, which was used for Rayman Origins, Rayman Legends, and Child of Light which allows for Valiant Hearts to have a comic book art style.

Valiant Hearts: The Great War will be released on the PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One on June 25th 2014 for $14.99.
