Titanfall Developer Teasing Announcement at EA Play Conference

Tomorrow’s EA Play press conference is set to feature a presentation from Titanfall developer Respawn Entertainment.

Taking to Twitter earlier today, studio co-founder Vince Zampella teased that a “juicy little tidbit” about one of the  team’s upcoming projects will be included in the conference. Fans on Twitter have taken Zampella’s use of the word “force” within the tweet as a clue that the announcement will pertain to the third-person Star Wars title, which is reportedly being helmed by God of War III director Stig Asmussen.

However, the developer currently has two other projects in the works, which were outed during EA’s purchase of the studio last year. The first is a new Titanfall project, which is widely expected to be the third full-fledged entry in the well-received shooter franchise, and the second is an Oculus-exclusive VR game, of which no details have yet been released.

The EA Play conference is set to begin at 11a.m. PT tomorrow, and this new announcement from Respawn Entertainment will join showings for Battlefield V, Anthem, and a host of other projects. For more details on what to expect from the E3 conference, check out OnlySP’s run-down here.
