The fine folks at Remedy may very well be working on an Alan Wake 2, since these recent official Facebook and Twitter posts hint at an imminent reveal.

Sam Lake, writer of Remedy’s Alan Wake and Max Payne titles, recently tweeted the following:

Not only that, but the Alan Wake Facebook page has made a post about the Alan Wake franchise being on sale via Steam, as well as some big news coming in 2013:

You know what this means, kids? Alan Wake 2 might be in production. Naturally, this remains a rumor for now, since it could very well just be a new IP or some other project. Still, Alan Wake fans should find this interesting. You guys do find it interesting, right? Be interested or else.

Stay tuned for more news and rumors on this upcoming Remedy title, whatever it is.

  1. Awesome news!!! I loved the first game and was a little disappointed the follow-up (American Nightmare) wasn&#039t a full retail release. Looking forward to more survival horror and the continuation of the great, somewhat convoluted narrative.
