Saints Row IV Pokes Fun at GTA V With Free DLC

The Grand Theft Auto V hype train is at full steam after releasing on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 today, and Saints Row IV is cashing in by releasing the GAT V DLC Pack on Steam and offering it free for today.

In an obvious play on GTA V‘s current console-only release, the pack’s Steam description reads, “Want to buy GAT V on PC? Too bad! Because we made the GAT V pack FREE on Steam for today only!”

The DLC pack includes a themed outfit and hair style for series regular Johnny Gat as well as an Aisha costume. The pack also comes with a high-powered rifle and what looks like a minigun that fires knives.

The DLC pack is also available on North American consoles today (tomorrow for the rest of the world) for $2.99.

DOOM Eternal Gets Nightmarish Concept Art

Doom Eternal

Bethesda has been pretty quiet about DOOM Eternal the past few months, but the company has reminded onlookers of the project’s stellar design via a piece of concept art.

Entitled ‘Hell Gate’, the concept art details Hell’s equivalent of royalist architecture, complete with DOOM (2016)’s penchant for contrasting colours and strong, angular geometry. The centrepiece of the art is the beloved Doomguy, whose heavy frame looks pretty small compared to the scale.

The art was shared directly on the game’s Twitter page, embedded below:

DOOM Eternal has no release date as of yet, but expect id Software to share more about the game at Bethesda’s E3 conference.
