Sea Salt Trailer Brings Retro Action-Strategy to Life

Sea Salt

Top-down retro strategy game Sea Salt just got a new trailer and allows players to summon “unfathomable horrors.”

Thanks to developer YCJY Games, Sea Salt blends dark art with a sense of dread to create its own unique world. The official trailer highlights the world this new RTS is offering.

The game’s website details what players can look forward to when the game launches in :

“An action strategy hybrid, where you are Dagon, The Old God, the Eldritch force of the sea, summoning unfathomable horrors to blight the human lands. They will pay what they owe, and you will have your vengeance.”

As an additional atmospheric punch, the game is inspired by Dagon, an old short story from H. P. Lovecraft.

Check out the game’s new trailer down below for more details.

Sea Salt does not currently have a release date locked down and is only planned to launch on PC.

Digimon Survive’s Stylish Opening Movie Released

Digimon Survive

The opening movie for Bandai Namco’s survival strategy game, Digimon Survive, has been released.

The opening was first shown exclusively at the “Future of Digimon” panel at Anime Expo 2019 back on July 6. The opening shows an earthquake that has hit Kanobe City, as well as some ominous red eyes (presumably Digimon) surrounding an old man in a forest. Near the end, the main character, Takuma, sees a mysterious silhouette of a girl, and the opening finishes with her singing.

Digimon Survive follows Takuma and his companion, Agumon, as they make decisions to stay alive and escape a bizarre dimension.

Digimon Survive will release on PC, PlayStation 4, Switch, and Xbox One in 2020.
