4A Games clearly did their research when designing the environments for Metro 2033, as they accurately resemble their real-life counterparts to a startling degree.
In a recent imgur album post, a user has posted photos comparing screenshots from Metro 2033 to their respective locations in Russia. Landmarks include the Ostankino Tower, the Metpo (subway) station, and more. Hopefully we can expect the same attention to detail in the upcoming sequel, Metro: Last Light. Check out the comparisons below!
Metro: Last Light releases early 2013 for PC, Xbox 360, and PS3. Check out all of our coverage for the game here.
