Epic Games have announced that popular sidescroller Shadow Complex has been remastered for PS4, Xbox One and PC and will be available for free for a limited time on PC.

The award-winning 2009 Xbox Live game will be available in full, “updated with exciting new enhancements and achievements to support its debut on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One” according to Epic Games’ post on their website.  The game will also boast some new features that will add to the experience like updated melee takedowns and enhanced graphics made possible because of it’s upgrade to Unreal Engine 3.

According to Polygon, the Co-founder and Creative Director of developers Chair Entertainment Donald Mustard has always been seeking to bring the game to a wider audience.

“We’re super excited to introduce a remastered version to fans, old and new, and for the opportunity it creates for us to do more in the Shadow Complex universe,” Mustard said.

The PC version is currently available to download for free  in its entirety until December 31st, but there is as yet no word on pricing for the game on the other consoles or once the period ends.
