Silence: The Whispered World 2 is now available on Nintendo Switch.

Daedalic Entertainment announced the game’s release with a new launch trailer, demonstrating the game’s beautiful visuals.

Silence follows the story of teenage boy Noah and his little sister Renie, who find themselves in a magical realm between life and death. The siblings meet several interesting characters as they fight to save the world of Silence and its inhabitants from death, including the magical caterpillar Spot. Check out the launch trailer below.

Daedalic CEO Carsten Fichtelmann explained the decision to port the game to Switch: “Silence is one of the most popular adventure games we’ve ever created, so bringing it to the Nintendo Switch was a no-brainer for us.”

Silence was originally released for PC, Mac, Linux, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One in November 2016, described as a “part sequel, part spin-off” of Daedalic’s 2009 adventure game The Whispered World.

Rhain discovered a long time ago that mixing one of his passions (video games) with the other (writing) might be a good idea, and now he’s been stuck in the industry for over six years with no means of escaping. His favourite games are those with deep and captivating narratives: while it would take far too long to list them all, some include L.A. Noire, Red Dead Redemption (and its sequel), Wolfenstein: The New Order, The Last of Us, and the Uncharted series.
