Dust: An Elysian Tail is a stunning action platformer developed by only one developer by the name of Dean Dodrill. Usually costing at $14.99, this game follows the story of Dust, a warrior who has lost his memory and tries to find out who he was in the past. Meanwhile, Dust tries to save the day as he explores this hand painted world. This game offers a simple but hard to master battle system which also implements RPG elements such as crafting weapons, special abilities and the like. For $2.99, I would definitely recommend giving Dust: An Elysian Tail a look.

Skylanders SWAP Force_Ninja Stealth Elf

Have you thought about getting a Wii U to play the upcoming Smash Bros title or the recently released Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze and live in Canada? Future Shop currently have a bundle for the Wii U, which comes with Nintendo Land and Skylanders Swapforce for $199.99. Currently around $50 off the regular price, you could grab the 8GB Wii U Basic console, Nintendo Land, and Activision’s most recent release in the Skylanders series alongside 3 figures for the game. Skylanders: Swapforce carries on the formula with a new graphics engine, and all new abilities such as teleporting, digging, climbing, bouncing, and flying. This package also includes the mini game filled Nintendo Land which uses the Wii U Gamepad in interesting ways. The Wii U seems to have a promising year lined up for single player enthusiasts including Bayonetta 2, X, Hyrule Warriors, Sonic Boom, and Yarn Yoshi.

The Indie Humble Bundle 11

The Humble Bundle allows you to pay your price for a list of select games, typically indie. With your purchase, you can place your money towards the charities that the website/bundle is supporting. Pay over a $1 and it’s yours but hey, this money is funding both the companies and charities so perhaps, you can pay more for the grand offerings you are receiving.

In fact, Dust: An Elysian Tail is in this bundle as well as the Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams, Guacamelee: Gold Edition and The Swapper and if you pay more than the average (which is currently at $4.22 at the time of writing), you will also get Antichamber and Monaco: What’s Yours Is Mine. In addition, you can get the soundtracks for all these games included with your purchase and there are even more games yet to be announced that will be included if you pay more than the average.
