Boss-Rush Action Game Sinner: Sacrifice For Redemption Heading to Switch

Sinner: Sacrifice For Redemption, the upcoming action-RPG brawler developed by DARK STAR, has been announced for Switch, after previously being slated for PC and other consoles only.

The announcement was complete with a new trailer, detailing some of the project’s boss-rush gameplay and Dark Souls-esque aesthetics. The premise tasks players with battling seven Gothic monsters based on the seven deadly sins, but the project is taking a different direction than seemingly similar games such as Dante’s Inferno.

Gameplay-wise, Sinner brings something entirely new to the action-RPG table, with a system designed to challenge even the most stalwart gamer. Each time a player faces a boss they will have to ‘sacrifice’ one of their abilities or attributes at the start of the fight, with the player growing progressively weaker with a more limited moveset as the story goes on.

The trailer is embedded below, with the title being released on PC, PlayStation 4, Switch, and Xbox One. Though originally scheduled for launch on April 25, Sinner: Sacrifice for Redemption was recently delayed to a vague Q3 2018 window.
