A new listing has popped up on Amazon today all but confirming the previous rumors that Sleeping Dogs would be getting a next-gen port dubbed, Definitive Edition.

As with Tomb Raider, the Definitive Edition has a price point of $59.99 and has a release date of October 14, 2014. You can check out the listing by following the link.

Other than the box art, date and price, no other details are currently posted on the page for the Definitive Edition, but I would assume that Square Enix will make some kind of Gamescom announcement regarding the project.

Be sure to let us know if you’ll be picking up the next-gen port of Sleeping Dogs, or any other opinions you have on the subject. Don’t forget to follow us on Facebook and Twitter for all the latest single player gaming news.

  1. Fantastic – Another re-hash of an old game to go along with Halo, Resident Evil etc..

  2. How nice that a game that wasn’t really all that great to start with now gets a new life as a hyped up re-mastered money grab to fill out low game ranks on a new console. Get your pockets ready to buy all that over priced rehashed DLC for these rehashed remastered money grab games. What next a remastered version of “Wet” or “Lollipop Chainsaw” lmfao

  3. I’d recommend Sleeping Dogs to anyone who hasn’t played it but I would have thought PlayStation Now would have this kind of thing covered.
