The talent behind 2017’s revamped retro classic, Sonic Mania, is forming a new studio.
Set to be led by a number of Mania developers, the team is taking up the name Evening Star. Creative director Christian Whitehead announced the news on Twitter.
(P.S. We're hiring!)

Evening Star is open for business in Los Angeles and it is looking to hire, too. Though, the team has held off from announcing any plans for upcoming titles.
The studio is a “boutique” developer, which is a term explained in detail on the official website.
“Every member pursues a goal to make their own great games. By encouraging strong technical foundations in every discipline, members are given a voice and latitude to impact games in unique ways.”
