Square Enix Will Occupy Sony’s Time Slot For This Year’s E3

Square Enix

Square Enix has announced that it will be holding its E3 conference at Sony’s usual time of 6:00 pm PT on June 10.

Square Enix is taking over what is traditionally the Sony spot at E3, and stated it will be showing “another exciting line up of titles!” The news was announced in a tweet embedded below:

The studio has already shared the link to watch the conference.

The company is no stranger to big E3 announcements, so taking this primetime slot should come with some heavy-hitters for the studio. Last year, for example, the company announced PlatinumGames’s Babylon’s Fall.

In all likelihood, Square Enix will use this window to follow up on February’s exciting Nintendo Direct. During that Direct, the company revealed Astral Chain, which is set to be released this year.
