Surviving the Aftermath is a Post-Apocalyptic City Builder Sequel Coming in 2020

Surviving the Aftermath will be the second title from Paradox Interactive and Haemimont Games in the city-building Surviving franchise.

The game will build on the foundation laid in 2018’s Surviving Mars, allowing the developer “the opportunity to experiment with these mechanics in new and interesting ways that we think our players will love,” according to lead producer Nikhat Ali.

An early access version of Surviving the Aftermath will become available later this year via the Epic Games Store and Xbox Game Preview. Similarly to Hades, that availability will expand after twelve months of exclusivity.

At that time, it will also be released on PlayStation 4 and Steam.

A teaser trailer (embedded below) shows what looks to be meteors falling to the planet.

More information on Surviving the Aftermath will be revealed at the upcoming PDXCON in Berlin on October 19.

To celebrate the announcement of Surviving the Aftermath, Paradox and Epic are teaming up to release Surviving Mars and its expansions on the Epic Game Store on October 10th. The base game and the Space Race DLC will be available for free from October 10 till October 17.
