2011 indie hit, Terraria, is heading to mobile devices some time this summer publisher 505 Games has announced today. In a press release the company said that the controls for the game had been completely reworked for touch screens, moreover, they added that it had been balanced to give the “perfect Terraria experience on the go.” Furthermore the game will feature leaderboards, achievements and Facebook integration, with Codeglue handling the port.

We currently have no further details than that, not even a mention of which mobile operating systems the game would support, however I’m sure we can expect to here more about the mobile version of the game in the coming weeks.
