Grip Games have just released Part 2 of The Solus Project on Steam today which adds a big chunk of new content to the early access title. If you already own The Solus Project, the content is free of charge.
The new content pack adds quite a bit of content, including 3-5 hours of additional gameplay, new gameplay elements like lighting storms and a whole new island to explore. The new trailer at the bottom of the article promises new content updates for The Solus Project every few weeks. The content will usually release first on PC, and then the Xbox One where the game is also in the early access program. Grip Games expects the content update to launch on Xbox One this Friday.

The story heats up in this second episode. Dark secrets lurk in the depths of this seemingly deserted alien environment and as you venture deeper into the underground you can’t shake the feeling you are being watched and followed.
One large new island along with the biggest cave system have been added, giving players an estimated 3-5 hours of additional gameplay and many dozens of new secrets and items. Continue your journey and explore the massive alien world!
