The Vanishing of Ethan Carter – New Screenshots

Polish developer, The Astronauts, have released some new screenshots for their upcoming horror game, The Vanishing of Ethan Carter, today. These screenshots are actually GIFs and do a great job of showing off some of the game’s very impressive visuals.

The developers are using “photogrammetric technology”, which allows smaller development teams to create better looking visuals for their games. This is the first I’ve heard of that tech, otherwise I’d try to explain a bit more. For now however, feel free to checkout the screenshots/GIFs below and let us know what you think.

If you want to read more on The Vanishing of Ethan Carter, check out our first details article here. Mind the formatting of the featured image as the article was written on a previous version of the site.

The game is currently in development for the PC platform, but The Astronauts hope to bring it to next-generation consoles post release. We’ll look into interviewing the developers to learn more about the game in the coming weeks.
