The Walking Dead: Season 2 Begins December 17

0

Earlier this week we brought you the news that the second season of Telltale Games’ 2012 Game of the Year winner The Walking Dead would be premiering this month. The game’s Steam listing provides a more accurate date of December 17th. It is currently slated to launch on iOS, PC, PS3, PS4 PSVita, Xbox 360 and XBO, though which platforms will be ready to go on that date is not yet clear.

The season pass retails for $24.99USD, though preordering will net you a 10% discount. The first episode has already been revealed as being called All That Remains. The game synopsis on the Steam page indicates that the ideals of the first season will return, which should make it a most excellent experience for all that choose to make the jump:

“The Walking Dead: Season Two continues the story of Clementine, a young girl orphaned by the undead apocalypse. Left to fend for herself, she has been forced to learn how to survive in a world gone mad.

“Many months have passed since the events seen in Season One of The Walking Dead, and Clementine is searching for safety. But what can an ordinary child do to stay alive when the living can be just as bad – and sometimes worse – than the dead? As Clementine, you will be tested by situations and dilemmas that will test your morals and your instinct for survival. Your decisions and actions will change the story around you.”

Telltale Games is also currently involved in the development of The Wolf Among Us, the first episode of which launched in October, while we continue to wait on a second.
