Developer Eidos Montreal announced on their community blog this afternoon that Thief, previously announced only for next-gen systems, will be released simultaneously for the PS3 and Xbox 360 as well.

The current-gen port of this much-anticipated reboot of the Thief stealth game franchise will be developed in-house by Eidos Montreal. According to Stéphane Roy, the game’s senior producer, the current-gen version’s “core gameplay” will not differ from the next-gen version. The game is set to be released in 2014.
