Tomb Raider Makes Up a Quarter of Google Stadia’s Launch Lineup

Google has revealed the games that will launch on day one with its new gaming subscription service, Stadia.

12 games will be available on launch day for Google Stadia, with the Tomb Raider reboot trilogy leading the charge. Destiny 2: The Collection will be free for those who bought the Stadia Founder’s Edition or Premier Edition while the other games will also be available for purchase.

An additional 14 other games will join Stadia in 2019, such as Borderlands 3, Final Fantasy, Ghost Recon: Breakpoint, Metro Exodus, Rage 2, and Wolfenstein: Youngblood.

Stadia will launch on November 19. The Founder’s Edition will be available in the United States, Canada, UK, Ireland, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, and Finland. The platform will cost USD$129.99.

Other games have been announced to arrive on Stadia in the future, including Marvel’s Avengers and Baldur’s Gate III. OnlySP’s Daniel Pereira felt that consumers should be cautiously optimistic towards Google Stadia.
