On July 23, 2019, SEGA filed a new trademark listed as Total War Saga: Troy.

The highly acclaimed Total War Saga will seemingly be tackling the epic war over the ancient city of Troy. A recently filed trademark from SEGA revealed that the next edition will be titled Total War Saga: Troy. The news came to us via Twitter user Nibellion who posted the official registry of the trademark on social media.

As stated in the post, gamers could be treated to reveal later this year at Gamescom, as SEGA has teased a new AAA announcement for the show. However, nothing has been officially confirmed thus far from SEGA so stay tuned for more updates.

A Total War Saga is a spin-off series that focuses on particular battles and flashpoints from history. The first game, Thrones of Britannia released last year, while the 2012 Total War: Shogun 2 expansion ‘Fall of the Samurai’ was recently rebranded as A Total War Saga game, as it “has been used as a goalpost to inform the development of subsequent Saga titles.”
