Total War: Warhammer II is set to receive new factions and lords in next month’s ‘The Shadow and Blade’ DLC.
‘The Shadow and Blade’ brings a multitude of new content to an already beefy Warhammer title. Two new factions join the war, with the Hag Graef and Clan Eshin making their debut.
Death Master Snikch and Malus Darkblade join the Vortex and Mortal Empires campaigns as powerful lords of their respective factions. Along with them comes 12 unique units, such as the Bloodwrack Medusa, Eshin Triads, Beast Master, and Master Assassin.
Releasing alongside the DLC is a free update for all players. This brings access to a new Bretonnian lord and hero: Rapanse de Lyonesse and Henri Le Massif.
Several quality-of-life improvements are also coming with this DLC, including a speed-up to enemy turn times. This change is expected to drop wait times by 60%. However, the improvement is heavily dependent on the game state and player’s PC specs.
Total War: Warhammer II ‘The Shadow and Blade’ launches December 12 on Steam.
