Amy Hennig

Film production company Skydance Media has announced that Amy Hennig and executive producer partner Julian Beak will head a new game studio.

Hennig, former creative director of the first three Uncharted games and EA’s cancelled Star Wars game, will be tasked with building a team focused on reaching “gamers and non-gamers alike on emerging streaming platforms [with] new story-focused experiences.”

The goal of these story-focused games is to craft them “as an interactive series” that will emulate the “visual fidelity of television and film.” The efforts will utilize Skydance Media’s expertise in these mediums producing shows and films such as Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan and Mission Impossible – Ghost Protocol respectively.
