VoidGate, an upcoming procedurally-generated indie dark fantasy by Version 5 Games, has launched its official Steam page.
To celebrate this occasion, the developer has revealed some new VoidGate details and screenshots. In an update on IndieDB, the developer stated that being granted a Steam page was “a great milestone,” before revealing that it has added a new tutorial, skills, loot, and a shop since the game’s last update.
The Steam page contains a fresh synopsis of the title, embedded below, along with the new screenshots:
“VoidGate is a third-person dungeon crawling game. It consists of randomly generated dungeons, lite survival elements, and permanent death. The combat consists of strategic real-time action, using different styles of melee combat, ranged combat, and magic.
“There is no class system, as it allows absolute freedom of the player to choose their attributes, stats, and skills. However, there are some class archetypes for players who may want to choose a narrower suggested path.”
Considering the lack of manpower behind VoidGate, the game appears to be developing nicely. The title is set to release sometime in 2019.
