“Waiting For A Sign” (Watch_Dogs) | Soundtrack Spotlight

The hype train for Ubisoft’s open-world action-adventure Watch_Dogs has almost reached the station (releasing on May 27 to be precise).

As such, it’s only natural we focus this week’s Soundtrack Spotlight on this long-delayed gem. “Waiting For A Sign” begins with the sounds of emergency sirens, which serve as the theme throughout the track. Techno and synthesizers are used to great effect as well, except at the end, when the beat slows down to the “lub-dub” rhythm of a heartbeat.

Please enjoy “Waiting For A Sign” below, and let us know what you think in the comments!

Watch_Dogs is slated for release on May 27 for the Xbox One, Xbox 360, Playstation 3, Playstation 4, Wii U, and PC.

Soundtrack Spotlight – Event[0]

Event[0] is an atmospheric, first-person puzzle game that kept me gripped from beginning to end with its amazing story, breathtaking visuals, and ridiculously great music. While I enjoyed my time with the game immensely, what’s really stuck with me, more than the story or the visuals, is the soundtrack.

The music, composed and written by Julie Robert & Camille Giraudeau, is reminiscent of the Electronica scene that grew to prominence during the late 80s and early 90s. While the game has many of these excellent electronic synth pieces, today I’d like to highlight the one piece in the game that stands apart from the rest, in both tone and style.

Trust me, you’ll be humming to the tune for days.

You can listen to the piece down below and make sure to drop down in the comments section to let us know what you think.
