Warhorse Studios announced today that they have made a publishing deal with Deep Silver to get the game into the hands of as many customers as possible.

The publishing deal will not result in any changes to the game, according to Warhorse Studios. In a blog post on their website, Warhorse said that while, “Koch Media will use its worldwide distribution channels and partnerships to achieve best retail results, we stand behind the vision of Kingdom Come: Deliverance and retain freedom in the development of our game. We will keep our communication as open and honest as we did from day one of our Kickstarter campaign.”

A release date for Kingdom Come: Deliverance will be announced in the “near future”, according to the blog post. With the publishing deal, Warhorse Studios will now be able to simultaneously launch digitally and physically on all announced platforms. All backer rewards are expected to ship shortly after the release of the game next year.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance is expected to release in the Summer of 2017 on the PS4, Xbox One and PC.
