Comic-Con International 2016. San Diego, California. The event closest to me, being my hometown after all.
To highlight just how relevant Comic-Con has become in gaming culture, the guy next to me in the picture above from last year’s event is Neil Druckmann of Naughty Dog, who had a big hand in making The Last of Us and Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End.
This year may be the most crowded yet video-game-wise for the annual convention. Here is a list I’ve compiled of what I know will be there or at least available to be discussed about with a developer or other contributor: (NOTE: CLICK ON EACH TITLE TO GO TO THE GAME’S WEBSITE FOR MORE INFO IF YOU’RE NOT FAMILIAR WITH THEM)
-Telltale’s The Walking Dead and Batman
–Resident Evil 7 (and other remakes of past games)
…and probably at least a few more I’m not aware of. So yeah, I’ll be figuratively, and arguably literally, above-the-neck in writing and trying to be in two (and sometimes three) places at once. Working alone doesn’t help, but that’s the situation.
That’s where you can help me and the site. If you have any burning questions for any of the above games, or for games I didn’t mention above but you know will be there this week, please relay them to me in the comments below. I will do my best to get them answered, either by video interview or handwritten articles.
Similarly, if you’d like any games to be especially featured or looked at, then please let me know in the comments as well and I’ll try to accommodate your requests as I can.
