Wolfenstein fans got a lot to chew on today, starting with a trailer for the stand-alone release, Wolfenstein: Youngblood.
Set in 1980, players will follow the twin daughters of usual Wolfenstein protagonist, BJ Blazkowicz, as they search for their runaway father. Watch the explosive new trailer down below.
Jess and Soph Blazckowicz, unsurprisingly, do not fall far from the tree. In other words, players have two eccentric, Nazi-killing characters to look forward to when the game releases on July 26.
Though Youngblood can be enjoyed as an exclusively single-player experience, Deluxe Edition owners can take advantage of a buddy pass. The buddy pass allows one friend at a time to take on the role of the opposite twin, regardless of whether or not they own the game.
Following up the new trailer is a release date for the Wolfenstein VR experience, Wolfenstein: Cyberpilot. Announced last year, the PSVR and PC exclusive will launch on July 26, the same day as Wolfenstein: Youngblood.
Series developer MachineGames is working on both of these projects, though Dishonored developer Arkane Studios has also had a hand in the development of them.
Youngblood gives players more platforms to choose from, as it will release for PC, PlayStation 4, Switch, and Xbox One.
