During the Xbox One release event by Microsoft, the company also revealed that the console would be shipping, worldwide, “later this year”. No further details were given about the release date, however the fact that the Xbox One will release worldwide in 2013 may give it an advantage over the PlayStation 4, which has only been confirmed as coming to North America in 2013. This will therefore undoubtedly be good news for gamers in other regions such as Europe.
